Happy Day

Today is Easter, as I'm sure you all know. But what many forget is what the Savior has done for us. He suffered in the garden for us and died on the cross for us. He has done so much for us and we can't repay Him. But one thing we can do is thank Him for all he has done and remember Him always, especially on this beautiful day. I am truly thankful for my Savior and all He has given me. He is the light of my world and gives me hope. I so very grateful for the atonement and all it has done for me in my life. I love my family am I don't know what I would do without them. I love this gospel and I know that it is the true gospel. I love my Heavenly Father and my brother Jesus Christ. I know I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me. I know the prophet is the true prophet and he leads us and guides us in the right direction. I know the Book of Mormon is true. Remember who you are, what you're worth and never give up. Remember what your Savior has done for you and love him with all your heart.

As I Sit

As I sit here in the middle of English, because I already finished all my work, I realized that today is such a beautiful day. I don't want to be inside I want to be outside soaking up the sun! Getting my tan on! I am finally able to wear shorts again after way too long! Usually I dread summer. To me it is the worst season. But I am finally ready for it to come! I am ready to be outside and exercise. Yes. I just said I want to exercise. I went for a bike ride last week and it is such a great way to clear my head and look at the beautiful world around me! And I can finally golf and get rid of all my stress and finally enjoy life! And summer means graduation and graduation means no more school and no more school means I get to go on my mission! And after my mission I get married and sealed for time and all eternity! and then have a beautiful family. I cannot wait!

Well then.

Well for those who don't know I have been having a pretty tough couple years. And finally after a couple of months of me being stupid I finally came to terms with me needing help. And finally yesterday I got the help that I was needing. As I reflect on things I can see the Lords hand in everything. There is a purpose for me to be here, even if I don't know what it is and even if I don't understand what I'm supposed to do. There was a reason I was placed in the family that I have. Without my family I wouldn't be here. Through hard trials come great things. My testimony of this gospel has grown so much in the past month it's crazy. I know that Heavenly Father watches over me and that he truly cares about me. I know that the savior died for me and that the Atonement truly works. I am so grateful for it. I love my family so much and am so grateful for them.

Oh my..

Oh my goodness it has been quite some time since I have done a post! Well guess what?! I got into the cosmetology program for those of you that didn't know!! And it is so much fun! I am doing great! And now I am a senior in high school and only have three months till I graduate! Holy cow it has gone by so fast and I am so happy for it!! Just recently I became an Auntie to the cutest little girl ever her name is Brylee Jean Leishman! And she is growing so fast! Just this month I turned 18 and I am now officially an adult! It's great but sad all at the same time! Well folks that's the update! Love you all and I am grateful for all I am blessed with!!

How many more days did you say?

So I am a junior this year and guess what it feels like it is taking forever to get out of school!! Next year I will be a senior (obviously) and then I won't have to go to school EVER again after that!! So How many more days left till this year is over? 70. That's right people, 70 more days. How will I ever get through it? (: Ha ha. Well just thought that I would post something. It might have been random but I cannot wait till school is out!! (:

How 'bout them Giants?!!? (:

So my birthday was on the first of February.. Yeah so birthday, not a big deal, right? The good part was I got these really cute red Toms, a B-E-A-utiful picture of my favorite temple (the ogden one of how it used to look), a game called Skylanders from Brad and Chelle (it is so much fun!!), and Just Dance 3 from Brandon and Alexa (it is also very fun!) and of course money. (: But the worst part of it was I was sick! SICK! with the stomach flu... How horrible right? Yeah I know I feel bad for mysef. (; But even though I was sick I still wanted food from a resturant called, La Puente. It is so good and it sounded really good, I ate it and it wasn't so good. Ha Don't eat food from a resturant that you love when you are sick, you won't be able to eat it again for a while. And ice cream doesn't help a sick tummy. Nope, sure doesn't. And I was stupid enough to try eating it twice! So I was sick Wednesday and I still am. My whole weekend ruined. But it was good I stayed home from school all week last week and my mom and dad were home too so it made it fun. We watched movies and slept it was nice. (: And how 'bout them Giants?! Yes sir they sure did win!! (: I loved the Giants last touchdown where the guy didn't want to make it yet to let the time run out so he just sat down in the touchdown zone! (: ha ha funniest touchdown ever! And how 'bout them comercials, given they weren't as good as last years but there were some memberable ones. I will tell you my 2 favorite: The M&M one where there is the chocolate flavor M&M and they were like "Ohhh so it's that kind of party" and she is all like "No. I'm not showning my chocolate!" Then in comes the red M&M and he is all like "Ohhhh so it's that kind of party!" And he rips his red color off and starts dancing to sexy and I know it! ha ha My brother and I were laughing so hard! (: And I liked the Doritos one where the dog killed the cat but he doesn't want anyone to know so he gives the guy a bag of Doritos that says 'You didn't see ANYTHING!' ha and the wife comes to the husband is like "Have you seen our cat?" And the husband sees the dog at the window with a bag of Doritos and so he says "Nope" ha ha it was great! Well that was my weekend and last week! (: Hope yours was better!

First Date.

So on Saturday after work I went on my first date! I know it is late in life for me to have my first date. (Four days before my 17th birthday.) But I can't help that boys are just stupid teenage boys with stupid sickning minds (No Hayden (my date) is not this way) that will only ask out the drop dead gorgeous cheerleader, dancer girls that leave me hanging. But anyway, my date on saturday was so much fun! We went glow-in-the dark bowling it was so much fun!! We all sucked at it none of us got above 60. (We are just blaming it on the dark ;) But no we just suck in general! :) Then after that we went to the movies and saw Man on a Ledge. It was so good and intense! :) My date was really kind and nice I have known him since seventh grade. He is a good friend of mine. But he was so nice on the date he opened the car door for me and if I tried to open it I got in trouble then he came and got it for me. :) And we doubled with my best friend ever, Sabrina! So it made it that much better. :) It was a fun night! And to answer questions I know you are thinking, no we did not kiss, hug, or hold hands! :)
